Here are With Guided Hand's policies and practices pertaining to how being on call for birth and massage works together, gift certificate guidelines, and rescheduling policies. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

On Call For Births

I take an average of 12-24 births a year. This means because there are times when I am on call, there is a possibility I may have to reschedule your session within the hour. Most of the time, it will not be this way. Attending a birth isn't normally drop everything and go as a doula. There is usually an amount of time prior that can be gauged. I should be able to let you know in advance if it were to affect your appointment. If I am called into a birth while I am in session, I would finish your session up to an hour. This would only affect sessions 90 minutes or longer. 

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are good for 3 months from the date of purchase.. If the recipient does not use it in the 3 month period, there is a two week grace period following its expiration in which they can still use the gift certificate. For up to two weeks after the gift certificate has expired, the recipient may still use it but will pay half the purchase price of the certificate. 

Rescheduling/ Cancellation Policy
With Guided Hands has a 24 hour rescheduling/ cancellation policy. If you miss your appointment, cancel, or change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, the full price of that session will be due prior to your next session. This policy is in place out of respect for the therapist and clients. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, someone else is prevented from scheduling into that time slot.
